| Hayward Pool Products has unveiled the Aqua Plus 16V, a new generation of salt chlorination and automation. The new Aqua Plus 16V, which features more relays than its original counterpart, along with an additional valve output, soft keys and control, will be available effective October 2010. The new Aqua Plus will provide pool and spa owners with expanded control over all functions, from lighting to purification, by working with a single automation unit. The Aqua Plus 16V's expanded features include: Four additional relays, for a total of eight Eight additional soft keys for use with group functions and lighting An additional value output, for a total of four An additional heater control, for a total of two Like the original, the Aqua Plus 16V includes integrated salt chlorination featuring the 40,000 gallon Turbo Cell which turns ordinary salt into a supply of pure sanitizing chlorine for pool or spa water that's clean, refreshing and silky smooth. Programming is made easy with clear instructions and step-by-step visual aids. The Aqua Plus 16V features a 40-character LCD display with time, date, pool and spa temperatures and ambient air, providing customers with up-to-date information for their backyard environments. The built-in keypads allow pool and spa owners to fully program and operate the pool equipment pad with easy to use buttons for manual control. The Aqua Plus 16V can also be programmed and managed remotely with a complete line of optional wireless and wired remote controllers. Including Aqua Pod™, a totally programmable, waterproof handheld remote. Aqua Pod delivers complete wireless functionality and control from anywhere, even in the pool. Other options include Sense and Dispense the industry's only integrated chemistry automation option continuously monitors pH and chlorine levels and dispenses what the water needs, when it needs it. It also supports the full capabilities of ColorLogic color LED lighting with over 101 color options – all controllable for motion, brightness and speed as well as 11 standard and custom light shows.
