Model AP energy efficient, compact pool heaters are designed for commercial, institutional and large residential pools where economical performance and rapid heat-up are needed.

Available in twenty-one sizes to precisely match any heating requirement, the Mighty Therm is sized from 500,000 to 5,000,000 BTU input indoor and outdoor models.

Mighty Therm Commercial Heater Features

Greater energy efficiency, 82%- is achieved through the effective heat transfer of the copper finned tubes, with nine times the heating surface of smooth copper tube heaters.

Designed-certified by the American Gas Association Laboratories, under ANSI standard Z21.13 and also the Canadian Gas Association. Outdoor units are certified for use without the addition of a draft diverter or external venting. Indoor units incorporate a built-in draft diverter and require only vent piping.

Built-in flow control valve is capable of accepting flow rates up to a 150 G.P.M. on Models 500 through 750, 175 G.P.M. on Models through 1825 and 300 G.P.M. on Models 2000 to 5000.

Complete control system on all models includes automatic temperature control, high temperature limit, pressure flow switch, manual gas shut-off valve, gas pressure regulator, electronic flame safety super vision and redundant electric gas valves as required for safety back-up. Natural gas heaters are equipped with an intermittent ignition device. Control system operates on 24 VAC power (transformer furnished) and 115V electrical supply.

One-Year/Five-Year double protection warranty assures that Mighty Therm Model AP pool heaters are of proven quality and built for long, reliable use. The controls, copper tubing and combustion chamber are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from date of purchase. All other parts are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for five years from date of purchase.

Soft water and sea water models are also available. Cupro-nickel alloy finned heat exchanger tubes, bronze headers and header covers meet the special needs of salt water pool environments. Heat exchanger is ASME rated.
