Pool Cleaners

There are three main types of automatic pool cleaners: Suction side which plug into the skimmer, Pressure side which are powered by a return line and often require a booster pump, and Robotic which have their own onboard motor and act independently of your pool filtration system.   

Automatic Pool Cleaners - Booster Pump Systems:  Booster-pump systems take water that is already on its way to the pool (after going through the filter and heater) and turbo charge, or further pressurize it by running it through a separate pump or motor. This high-pressure stream of water passes through flexible hoses into a cleaner that roams the pool.  Suction Style Pool Cleaners are:  Hayward Navigators, Kreepy Krauly, Kreepy Kruiser, Kreepy Kadet, Baracuda G3 and G4, Dirt Devil Pro V, Sta Rite Pool Shark, Great White,  Polaris ATV.  Sample Booster Type Pool Cleaners are: Hayward Phantom, Polaris 280,180 & 380, Letro Legend, Letro Jet Vac.   Return Side or Existing Systems Cleaners are: Polaris 360, Legend II, Jandy Ray Vac.
