Safety Turtle is the only pool safety device that instantly sounds an alarm if your child falls into the pool. Safety Turtle is an effective last line of defense to protect your children from swimming pool accidents. Simply place the Turtle wristband around your child's wrist. If he or she falls into the water, a loud alarm will sound at the Base Station.
Safety Turtle consists of a Base Station (AC-powered) and one or more Turtle wristbands or pet collars, wireless door alarms, and/or wireless gate alarms.
The Base Station should be placed inside the house, within 100 feet (30 meters) of the pool. Any number of Turtles can be used with one Base Station, one color per base station.
The Terrapin Wireless Gate Alarm [GA101], sold seperately, uses the same Base Station and color coding as the Personal Immersion Alarm [Turtle], providing two layers of protection in one system. It offers some unique advantages over non wireless gate alarms and is also available in a Door Alarm model [DA-1-01].
Warning - When using with salt chlorinated pools, the Base Station should be located poolside, several feet above the water.
